My family got stay, What about me though?

Post by angelangelangel » Tue Oct 14, 2008 10:09 pm

Hello,

There is a good news.
My family's (mother and 4 siblings) asylum case has finally been accepted ( after being refused a couple of times ) .. Today we rec'd letters from the Home Office givin them Indefinite status, permission to work etc.

When I turned 18, my lawyer filed a separate claim on my name which still remains pending.

My question is that, what should I do now?
Should I contact the home office telling them about my family's status and asking them to give me stay as well?

Please guide me

2nd question. Can someone tell me the rights of people with indefinite leave in terms of Travelling? How long can we stay abroad in a given year?

Can we travel abroad without a visa ( Since we hv uk indefinite leave) or will we have to get our visa wherever we go?

Many thanks
Bye

ILR is only for UK. Visas for other countries will depend on your nationality.
