Family Member of British Citizen

Hello everyone,

Myself as a British citizen living in the UK with my Non EU wife, just wondering if there is anyway that I can apply for a visa for my wife's no eu sister who is already in UK on student visa? so far I can only find about the EU route extended family member! but I am in search for the UK route so please kindly share me your experience with me and I would highly appreciate it.

Simple answer - No!

Surinder Singh route requires you to relocate as a family to another EU state and move the 'centre of your life there', before later returning to the UK together.

Yes, UK does not subscribe to or facilitate any form of chain migration.

On the other hand, the EU route is primarily for the benefit of the EU national;
ie so that their right to free movement is not constrained in any way by family members 'left behind'.

So sad to hear there noway in the UK anyway thanks very much for your kind advices guys.

Also, the sister-in-law will be an extended family member for the purposes of Directive 2004/38/EC. Be aware that extended family members get fewer rights in EU law than family members (spouse, children and dependent parents only).
