Clarify you are referring to spouse visa route?Pieman wrote: ↑Tue Apr 25, 2023 2:10 amHello everybody,
Greetings of the day.
I shall be renewing my family's visa soon. I am a British citizen and they are my dependants.
I stay with my family in a rental property.
Can anyone please advise whether "Property assessment/ Home inspection report of the accommodation" is mandatory for the visa renewal process?
Many thanks in advance.
Kindest regards.
No, PIR not requiredPieman wrote: ↑Wed Apr 26, 2023 5:37 amHello AmazonianX,
Many thanks for your quick response.
I am British and my wife has come to the UK as my dependent and my two children (girl aged 17 and boy aged 21) have also come as my dependents.
We stay in a ‘Sole Occupancy’ accommodation, rented privately through a property management company.
I have a letter from the property management company stating that the number of permitted occupiers for this property is four, and this letter mentions the name of all four of us.
I am not sure if a Property Inspection Report is required for the 1st renewal of the visa.
(Please note that the initial visa application was done when I was staying at property A and now I have shifted and the 1st renewal is being done from property B).
Please advise.
Kindest regards.
You appear to have a decent list of required winning documents up there.Pieman wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2023 4:23 amMany thanks AmazonianX for your guidance.

Pieman wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2023 10:15 pmThanks a Ton AmazonianX for going through the detailed list.
Its much appreciated.
Can you please clarify the following:
1- I am not staying in an HMO.
I have a Letter from the "Property Management Company" stating that the number of permitted occupiers for this property is 4, and this letter also mentions the name of all 4 of us (myself, my spouse and 2 children).
I have been staying in this property since Nov 2020.
The Tenancy Agreement is held jointly in the name of myself, my spouse and my 21 year old son.
Do I still need an NOC? Above letter suffices
2- Does my two children aged 17 yrs and 21 yrs require English Language Test at this stage? This is 1st renewal of their visa after 2.5 yrs, as my dependants.
Read through below

I do not want to send any additional documents and hence the concern.
Kind regards.
Pieman wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2023 2:07 amHello,
May I know if the following documents have to be submitted:
1- Marriage Certificate. Always a requirement.
2- Any proof that my two children (aged 17 and 21 years) are staying with me.
3- Do I need to self-attest all the documents that I submit. No
For the above, my spouse is the main applicant. This is her first renewal of spouse visa (dependant of a British Citizen), after 2.5 years.
Many thanks.
Submitting the application means you have conclude filling and provided all required supporting documents. You should not be supplying documents dated after submission date as you are expected to have met all requirements by the time you apply and submit.Pieman wrote: ↑Thu May 04, 2023 3:44 amHello,
If I submit the application on 30th June, within how many days after that can I safely upload my documents? The reason being that I am falling short by one payslip which I will get on 15th of July, and that is when I want to submit all the documents and then later take appointment for the Biometrics.
Any help regarding this query will be highly appreciated as this is totally jeopardising my case.
Thanks and regards,
Pieman
Pieman wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 11:19 pmHello,
May I please have the answers to these queries:
1- What is the name of the form that we have to fill for my Spouse's Visa extension (this is her 1st extension after 2.5 years, as a dependant of a British Citizen)? FLR (M)
2- Do we have to fill separate forms for our 2 children (aged 17 and 21 years)? Yes, separate forms
3- What is the gov. link that has the guidelines? Google FLR M
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards.
