Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help with my wife's UK Family Visit visa request which was denied a couple of weeks ago. Seems like the problem is the fact that she had visited the UK from Pakistan 2 times. On the second visit visa, she filed for asylum and eventually denied.
She is married to me now, and now she is a US Green Card holder with me being a US Citizen.
She was denied based on the ruling of the UK court and the decision still stands. Among other points where I did not show financial support documents, the most critical point the denial listed was that there was/is an outstanding fee of 480 pounds during the appeal/asylum process. Noted, that she was on public legal aid during the process. She left the UK without any incident, before the visa expired.
Is there any defense for the appeal referring to the 480 pounds? She never received any bill from the home office. The appeal is due in about 15 days? Your help and advise is greatly appreciated, thanks for reading. All the best,
