Family visit Visa Help Required

hello guys,
i hope every one is fine here...i am going to apply for Uk family visitor visa to meet my Family setteld in Uk,
but i have got some Problems
1- my wife is not Working so she cant arrange financial statement, but i am working in dubai on good position and earning enough amount to bear my expenses. is that ok? or must Provide her financial statement
2-is their any option to apply for other type of visit visa? like general visitor visa?
3-my pakistani origon card has all the info about my family , i think UKBA will check all my bio and if they find out i have family there in uk and i am apply for general visitor visa surely they will refuse it ....
so guys kindly help me and give me ur suggestion i want to meet my baby boy...
