Family Visit Visa Refused Help needed

Post by Adeel668 » Wed Jun 01, 2011 9:57 pm

hi,

I am in UK on Tier 2 visa and sponsored my Dad's visit visa last month and it has been refused with right of appeal with the following reasons. can you please advise me if its best to Appeal or to re-apply.

Please find the reasons below.

On your application you have indicated that u r a land lord earning Rs.83000 (L 593 @Rs.140= 1 L) per month. You have provided some evidence of land lord ownership and documents attesting to your status. However you have not provided any evidence to confirm that the land generates employment and the income stated. In addition the personal bank statement you have submitted shows large deposits however you have not submitted any evidence regarding the origin of the funds; for example in April 2011 you have deposit totalling to Rs.147,000(L1050). I do note that you have submitted affidavits to confirm lease agreement and that you own property in Pakistan. However such documents are readily available in Pakistan and at little cost. There is no requirement for any supporting documentation to be present and in fact can be drawn up to specify any detail as requested by the individual purchasing the affidavit. These are generated to assist with this visa application and are no more than self-serving. I am therefore not satisfied that the documents you have provided are satisfactory evidence of your employment and income. Given all of this I am not satisfied as to your intentions in wishing to travel to the UK now.
I am not therefore satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry as a general visitor for a limited period as stated by you not exceeding 6 months, nor am I satisfied that u intend to leave the UK at the end of the period of the stated by you.
On your application you have stated that you r a land lord however u have provided no satisfactory evidence of these circumstances. I also note that two of your sons have sought to settle in UK and you r reliant on money given by your family outside of your country or residence to cover the costs of this visit. Given your personal circumstance, I am not satisfied your intention, I am not therefore satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry as a general visitor for a limited period as stated by you not exceeding 6 months, nor am I satisfied that u intend to leave the UK at the end of the period of the stated by you.
I have therefore refused your application because i am not satisfied, on the balance of probabilities, that you meet all of the requirements of the above paragraph of the immigration rules.

Please advise.

Many thanks
