Post by Shraddha chavan » Fri Mar 25, 2016 10:15 am

Hi All
I am applying for fathers 2 years visitor visa. He was here before in 2009 & 2014 on 6 months visitor visa and return on time.I would like to know if TB test is mandatory for 2 years visa. Interview is on Monday. So early reply will b helpful.

I know TB test is not Applicable for 6 months visa. Hence want know is it mandatory for 2 years visa category?

Not required as even though the visa may be issued for a 2 year period, your father will not be able to stay for more than 6 months.
Also bear in mind that he must not be seen to spend more time in the UK in a rolling 12 month period than he is spending in his home country.
