family visitors visa

Hi please can some one give me some advise,i would like to bring my mother inlaw over to the uk from morocco on a family visitors visa as my wife is expecting and is due in the next 7 weeks and would like her mother here for the birth and , my question is 1) whats the process for online aplication? ,although she will be submitting her own documentation , i will be sponsering her, 2) what documents do i need to submit? also as im in the uk 3) do the documents i submit in support of her aplication can be emailed scanned copies/faxed copies ,or do they need to be originals ?

thank you for your help your post was i great help and were in the process of doing the online application , i have another question sorry ,as im sponsering my mother inlaw as a family visitor and obviously shel be our guest ,one of the question in the online application doesnt make any sence to me it askes
1) if some one other than your self is paying for all or any part of this visit how much money will they give you ?....... are we supposed to put a figure in here ? obviously wel be covering all the costs of her stay but are we supposed to be paying her a cash sum ???
2) what is the cost personally of your stay in the united kingdom ?......

if we are sponsering her what amount should she put in here im a bit confused,, sorry ,,please any advise
