Fastest & best way to send documents to NARIC?

Post by Manish Gaur » Mon Oct 01, 2007 4:34 pm

Hi,

Is there anyone who's recently applied for/ been thru (Engg) degree assessment procedure to NARIC ? Just wanted to know the FASTEST & most convenient way to send the documents to NARIC. Do they accept SCANNED copies of documents thru e-mail?

Experienced members please advice & share your experience.

Regards,
Manish Gaur

1. Apply online --> http://www.naric.org.uk/index.asp?page=20
2. Send docs via FAX.

Thanks,
JD

I fully agree with this. If you need it urgently you could try their premium services.

Hi jd & pantaiema,

Thanks for your prompt reply & advice. Much appreciated!

I have one more query related to filling of HSMP application. Is it neccessary to have a NARIC approval on my graduation degree before submitting the HSMP application to Home-Office UK? Is NARIC approval on graduation degree a mandatory document for filling the application? I'm confused coz some consultants say it is a mandatory requirement but some says it is not really required. :x

Please advice the correct procedure.

It is required if the Home Office do not already have detail of your University. However, they do not publish the names of the Universities they are aware of....

If in doubt, get it.

Hi,

It is not really mandatory. If you are sure that your degree is equivalent to British bachelor degree standard then you don't need this but if you have doubts then it is recommended because you'll have surety that your application will not be rejected in qualification section at least.

Thanks,
JD

Hi VictoriaS & jd,

Thanks once again for prompt replies!

I've Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering Technology from Birla Institute of Technology & Science(BITS), Pilani Rajasthan, India. In India it is amongst esteemed Engineering unverities, not sure whether it is recognized by NARIC or not. Any thoughts?

It is not mandatory. It is however advisable if U r not 100% sure. U will somtimes need it to apply for a job to enlsure your employer that your degree is equivalent to UK degree

People graduate from Harvard, Stanford, MIT fro instance will defenitely do not need letter from NARIC.
