Federal Skilled worker permit allows to live anywhere?

Hello my name is talles

I applied as a federal skilled worker. I got my visa and the right of being permanent in canada, however when I applied I filled out my form as saying I was going to live in Vancouver, but now I have changed my mind and I want to go to Toronto. I m still outside canada. Do I have the right to change my mind and live in Toronto right wawy or must I go first to Vancourver as it is in my immigration form?

I will very grateful if any of you can help me with this info.

You can live wherever you like - apart from Queubec. You can land wherever you like, but if you land in Quebec you will have to satisfy the immigration officer that you will be residing in another province.

As Richter said, stay away from Quebec. Just don't land in Quebec, even if you think you can convince the IO that you are going to live somewhere else. Not worth the risk.

You can live in Quebec, after you have landed, but you won't get any of the benefits Quebec gives to immigration via the their own selection (like free French language classes).

HI raymasa2 & Ritcher &All

If an applicant is from quebec selected worker and he want to live out side quebec province i.e. in Toronto Did he can live without any obligation anywhere in canada and after 5yrs term if he want to reneive his PR status will the applicant face any problem as he is not living in quebec province... Please give reply
