FEE WAIVER , FLR FP..??

Post by haris_zam » Tue Mar 08, 2016 9:41 am

Hello there,

just a quick one please,
can i apply flr fp alomg with my wife and request a fee waiver ?
I dononot qualify for flr fp generally, I am short 3 months from 10 years.
Can some one enlighten me as to what are the implications of doing this .

if i fill the form and request waiver and they refuse the request , would i be asked to make a payment without the application ( flr fp) being affected or would the application ita self be returned as invalid ...??

if the former I want to try it and see , if anything it'll buy me some time ...

If you had read through the FLR(FP) fee waiver application form (separate to the FLR(FP) application), you would have seen that it states:
"If you are not granted a fee waiver, your application will be rejected as invalid for nonpayment
of the required fee."

Also the form is clear that you would only qualify for the fee waiver if you could prove that you are destitute, or would be made destitute (homeless etc) if you were required to pay the fee.
I would strongly advise you to read through the form thoroughly, before taking a step you may regret.
