I was plan to get marry in August this year, but now the visa delay so canceled everything.
firstly give timeline for my application, im from china, the application handed in nanjing visa center.
hand in data: 30th march 2017 (everything finish that day, biometric, documents scan)
email for my case not straight forward: 23rd june 2017 ( 60 working days)
still awaiting a decision until now, and awaiting a decision status since 25th may 2017.
so anyone same here?
the first email:
Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application has been received and is under consideration. We aim to process non settlement applications within 15 working days (unless you have opted for the Priority Visa service), and settlement applications within 60 working days.
Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.
We will write to you again if there is any change to this. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection.
i had try to phone the customer center but useless, cost a lot but all answer just waiting.
the second email
As we have previously advised, the processing of this application has not
been straightforward. We cannot give a time scale for when a decision will
be made, however please be assured that we are continuing to work on the
application and will make a decision as soon as we are able to. I have
escalated this to the appropriate Entry Clearance team so that it can be
progressed as quickly as possible. Please note however that we are
currently in a peak period so all processing times are currently longer than
usual.

the second email get after i made a complain call, so think different with first email
also we had try to contact MP, write letter last week, no reply till now. my agency write a letter to HO( cause try to reminder them my wedding in august), same no reply.
today already 91th working days
i have two question: 1. how can i know my case was on hold? what will happen if application been hold?
2. anyone know any way can contact HO?
