fiance visa pakistan

i am getting very confused

i am a british national..me and my partner plan to get married here in the uk.he is in pakistan.

if i want to apply for a fiance visa...is it the settlement visa application i have to complete or is it a visit visa for marriage

its too confusing..please help!
