Fields insufficient in PSW form

Post by gaku26 » Tue Jan 10, 2012 10:36 pm

My correspondence address and course subject awarded doesn't fit in number of boxes provided. Is it Ok to cotinue writing in blank space in Tier1 PSW form? Urgent reply expected.

What correspondence address are you using, is it in the UK? If it is, you may want to remove needless locations. The name of your street, city, and postcode should be fine. Postcode being perhaps the most important bit.

You can also try shortening the title of your course subject. Mine didn't fit either, I had to substitute "Eng." for "Engineering"

Yes Greenie guru, because having everything else in order I was thinking of posting it today morning. But what I expect is a reply confirming is it Ok to spill outside on blank space if necessary! for e.g my course is 'Advanced microelectronic systems engineering' which even if I write as 'Adv microelectronic sys eng' doesn't fit! I found a way with the address.

it's your first post and you posted at 10.30 at night saying that you expect an urgent response. Your question just requires that you apply a bit of common sense. You have found a solution to your question but instead want a complete stranger who may have no idea what they are talking about to confirm that your solution is acceptable.

My bad! I thought posts were answered by 'Gurus' too who had experience of even trivial'est' situations. First timers are apprehensive of even the smallest exceptions they do.

it's not the fact that your post was trivial, but the fact that you demanded an urgent reply.

Perhaps, I was fidgety. Anyways, I take it from your post that its no big deal to write outside provided boxes. Thanks.
