Fill app from - Computer print or hand writing

I am having acrobat reader so that i can able to view files only, i cant type in the pdf document, Is there any free pdf writer software available, Most of them are asking for licence

use black pen to fill the form... simple..

Standard Adobe Reader can fill out the forms of the VAF and PBS Appendix. Upgrade it to Adobe Reader 8 or higher in case you have problems with the lower versions. But remember you can't save it after filling it partially. Best would be good old way of filling up with Pen.

I have Acrobat 8.0 prof and cud type on the form. I had sent a mail to H asking if ok to fill form on comp and then take print.

I was advised as follows

Dear xxxxxx,

Thank you for your enquiry.

When completing an application form it is advisable to do so by hand.

The operative word is advisable. It still does not say its mandatory.
