Processing times

The time it takes to process your application will depend on the type of application you make and how you submit it.

If you make your application in person at Croydon public enquiry office, we will usually process your application on the same day.

The table below shows the dates of postal applications we are currently processing.
Type of application All applications received prior to the date below are now under consideration
Registration certificate applications May 2008
Residence card February 2008
Permanent residence (EEA nationals) February 2008
Permanent residence (non-EEA nationals) February 2008
Family member residence stamp February 2008


Transfer of residence card or stamp

If you are issued with a new passport and want your residence card or family member residence stamp transferred you will need to make a new application. You should complete the appropriate application form and provide the required supporting documents.
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Irish Republic, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom. Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are not members of the European Union (EU) but citizens of these countries have the same rights to enter, live in and work in the United Kingdom as EU citizens.

you seem to have faith in these people, well ithink you are new to the system. bottomline is the website doesnt mean nothing.

if I remember correctly, you've only submitted your application in June/July. If so, then it has only been about 4 months since your application. You worry too early, the Euro department is in mess and takes ages to process applications.
Relax, and get on with your Christmas shopping :). I very much doubt you'll get anything before Christmas (6 months from your application).
Do not live your life in fear.

well i'm giving time to my self ,i can wait till february and no more ...so hopefuly by this time i will get some news ....wish good luck for evryone ...by the way thats the second time ...in total the home office kept my passport since october 2007 believe it or no...and i'm still waiting

Have seen your other message - you applied too early in 2007, so it doesn't count. Your clock started ticking when you applied in June.
By the time you'll receive your PR stamp, it will be time to apply for naturalisation :)
