Financial documents for family visit

Hi,
I want to apply a family visit to my parents for the second time (first visit was -5 year ago). Me and wife are British, both working. But I have n't had a job in November month only.But we both have been working without any gaps.I have about 8K in bank accounts to show.
My question is if I submit my last 7 months (with a month's gap) payslips would it be alright ? wife is on maternity pay- would starts work in a month.
I have searched for this scenario in the board, but could n't find any. Please suggest.
