Financial requirement(employer letter)

Post by reda » Tue Aug 20, 2013 9:24 am

Hi everybody,I'm wondering if I could apply for spouse visa on category B with only 8 months wages and bank statements as they fulfil the requirement I'm asking this because my old employer which I was planing to include him on the first 4 months he gave me employe letter without mentioning that I was permanent (i ask him to add i was permanent but he doesn't want add it)
This is my employment period
-4 months old employer (i have all the pay slips ,bank statement and employer letter without writing he was permanent)
-9 months with 2 employer, previous one 5 months then sold out for my current employer 3 months (all pay slips, bank statement and the same contract, same employer letter explain the hand over).
Any suggestion?

If you are applying under cat B, then you need to show 1. that your annual earnings meet the required amount you're relying on and 2. that you have actually earned that required amount in the last 12 months. If you can satisfy those, you should be ok.

Thank you for your prompt answer, from my understanding of your answer that the employer letter from my old employer (without saying that I was working permanently)it's not an issue,is it?!.

See the specified evidence on Annex FM 1.7 at 5.6.1. para 2 the type of employment is required but shouldn't be an issue.

You can combine jobs. Whether under Cat A or B would depend upon the length of time you have worked for the said company.

Thanks D4109125! So say for example: I start work with 2 companies...and wait for 6 months...and show UKBA the payslips after 6 months. Will this suffice or one job need to be longer than the other?
