Financial requirement for flr spouse visa

Post by Hussain123000 » Mon Jan 18, 2021 4:17 pm

Dear members
I m going to extend my spouse visa at the end of this year ( i m in 5 years route).
I m self employed Private Hire Driver work with Uber, for my extension i will use my self employed earning for the year 2020 - 2021, Due to Covid-19 and recent lockdowns, I earned less than £18600 and my partner is also not working, though I m going everyday to work for 8 to 10 hours but less jobs.
Can anyone please tell me that will HO will consider this situation and will not put me in 10 years route?
Will be thankful for your kind answers

“temporary loss of annual income due to COVID-19 between 1 March 2020 and 1 January 2021 will generally be disregarded for self-employment income, along with the impact on employment income from the same period for future applications.”

You have to specifically explain this to the guidance by quoting the guidance above and explain why you have had a loss of income as a result of current pandemic.
My opinions should not be constituted as an immigration or legal advice.
