Hi,
I am a UK citizen and I am applying a spouse dependent visa for my better half
I am bit struck at filling financial requirement section section 3.3 A
I am confused on what I should mark, whether I belong to Category A or Category B
I am with single employer in last 6 months, but for the first month I have 30k(My offer letter confirms this) and for next 5 months I am on 35k(Letter from employer confirms this apart from bank statements and salary slips)
I would be filling 35k as my salary on 3.11
3.11 What is your sponsor’s annual income from this employment before tax? >>>>>>>>>>>>> £
However I see this under section 3.12
3.12 Has your sponsor been in employment with the same employer and earning the amount, as detailed in 3.11 above,
continuously for 6 months prior to the date of the application? (Category A)
I am confused at this point whether to mark yes/no to this question
As marking No would mean I am on Category B and need to fill in previous employer details (Where in am just with 1 employer)
and marking Yes would mean I am on 35k pay for last 6 months
Can anyone who has previous experience in this issue help me here on what I have to answer in this scenario?
I have gone through previous questions but could find the relevant one but I found that if we are with one employer for 6 months we would be on Category A. This sounds bit ambiguous to what asked in 3.12 question above
Is it fine I mark it as YES and provide detailed explanation of what is my scenario or Just mark it NO and fill the previous employer details same as present employer details?
Thanks in advance for the help
