Financial Requirements for Tier 4 visa

Hi,

My sister is planning to apply for a student visa from Pakistan and I wanted to confirm if she only has show her bank statement for 28 days? Also the funds should cover her 9 months stay in the Uk even though she is applying for 1.5 years degree.

I will really appreciate a quick response.

I have read and does it mean that they would only need me to show that I have enough funds for 9 months and not 12 months (which is my course total time)

Look again at the first link posted above, paragraph ST 12.3(a):

Funds required:
Sufficient funds to pay any outstanding course fees as stated on the [CAS], and £1334 for each month of the course (up to a maximum of 9 months)

So it means my bank should have the amount of £1334 x 9 (months) right? Regardless of how long my degree time is?
