Financial requirment for spousal visa

Post by Evans20 » Mon Mar 14, 2022 7:10 pm

Hi there,

I am in the process of applying for a spousal visa which I will go abroad to do.(I'm sponsoring my husband) I'm trying to collect all the correct paperwork but I think I made a mistake. I printed off what I thought was bank statements myself setting the date ranges at the 9th-8th for each month and had them stamped at the bank as I don't receive paper copies. However I think what I actually printed was my transaction histories for 6 months.

It still shows the deposits made by my employer for each month which all correspond with my payslips, I meet the financial requirments and it shows any transactions iv done in-between. It also has my banks logo, the name of the branch I printed it at and my account number and the date it was printed however it doesnt display my classic account balance. Would this still be accepted as its stamped and matchs my pay slips?

I used the exact same forms and payslips when applying for a visa to visit my husband to show I could support myself in my stay and the consulate accepted it as they all matched my payslips.

Kind regards

If you have access to online banking, simply download your account statements and upload the pdf. Stamping not required of online statements if it resembles what you will normally get by post.
