Financially dependent? Or not?

Post by durbr » Tue Dec 18, 2007 10:33 pm

Hi all,

My wife got a work permit one year before me. So, when I got my job I did not need a work permit. Now, my wife is applying for ILR. Am I her dependent in that application given that I am not financially dependent upon her?
Thanks

Is your leave to enter/remain in the UK dependent on her work permit?

Then you can apply for ILR when she does.
