First Adult passport application

Hello everyone,

So my citizenship ceremony is fast approaching, and I wanted to start focusing on passport application – but I had some questions.

1) Since my ceremony is in a few days, can I start the application?
Not sure you can save the application mid-way - you need to enter the certificate number.

2) what documents, other than my passport and naturalization certificate do i need to send them?
no other docs required.

3) If for whatever reason I need to travel urgently while HMPO has my travel document, could I ask them to send my travel document back? or can i use my EU ID card to travel back into the UK - since I applied for the EUSS using that document?
This may be ok - contact the passport helpline - ID card should be ok - but also carry a copy of your certificate with you. As a British citizen your settled status will be defunct but it seems that that status hasn't been removed from travellers records following naturalisation.
