First time passport - Confirm identity

Hi Amazing people,

I finally got my citizenship, and now I am applying for a first time passport. I have a friend who is a Lead Data Architect at a company, she is british living in the UK.

The list of recognised professions (https://www.passport.service.gov.uk/hel ... g-identity) is not very clear. Does this mean she is a manager? Thank you.

Ask the referee to choose from the list.
May likely be an engineer or member of a professional body.

She is in IT (as Lead Data Architect). What should she choose? Or is she acceptable as a reference? Thanks.

What part of my answer did you not understand?
Ask her if she’s a “member of a professional body”
Ask her if she’s considered an “engineer”.
IT engineers do exist who are also qualified professionals and may also be a member of a professional body..
If you showed her the list..she maybe able to pinpoint what applies to her.
