Fixed Deposits created from Account Considered for Avg Bal

Hi,

I will be apply for the work permit by End of Nov'2010, and as per the Point based system Tier 2 Guidelines the main applicant requires the sum of £800 and will need a further £533 for each dependant accompanying you. I need to accocompany 2 dependent along with me i.e my Spouse & my daughter (2 years) old. A sum of GBP 1900 i had to maintain in my account for 90 consecutive days period.

My concern here is that if i am maintaining a balance which is sum of Fixed Deposit & Amount kept in my Banking Account, will it be considered for same or only the balance in the saving account is considered for the average balance calculation. The reason for asking the same is that i usually don't keep much balance in my saving account & i have other liabilities for e.g Home Loan & Car Loan

Please help me in this regard

No i am in Bangalore and will be applying for UK Tier 2 Visa. Actually company will not provide me on COS application for the maintenance funds of mine & my family, hence i need to check if the funds available in FDs i can show as a Average balance for Maintenance of My Family
