fixed penality notice for shoplifting

hello every one help needed
my friend issued FPN from police for shoplifting but that was not her fault its al misunderstanding my question is this will b a criminal conviction as she paid fine asking becouse her applictaion in HO for settlement visa
is this will b worry what she needs to do now its first ever happen
