Hi,
I am a British Citizen and I moved to India in 2014 and lived and worked there June 2022 and now am back here and I intend to live here permanently with my husband(Indian)
I met him in 2017 in India at work and we started dating in Nov 2019 and got married in Oct 2020 in India. My husband moved here in Sept 2022 on skilled worker visa and now we want to switch him over to Spouse visa so he can start his 5 yr ILR journey visa FLR(M). We both were previously married and divorced and have our divorcé decrees as well.
We have a Super Priority appointment on 20th and have gathered the below documents to be uploaded. Could someone please advice if this is good amount of evidence or would you recommend we add more details
1. My UK passport as sponsor
2. My job offer letter and 6 months UK payslip from July 2022 to Jan 2023
3. UK Employment letter confirming my role, annual salary above 50k also confirming that the online payslips amount are correct. Started this job in Jun 2022
4. Corresponding bank statements for showing the salary credit transactions
5. Our previous marriage divorce decrees
6. Our marriage certificate from Oct 2022
7. Our UK joint bank account with direct debits for utility bills
8. One bedroom apt tenancy agreement from August with both our names
9. Utility bills till last month in my name and only last month I added my husband
10. Council tax bills from Aug 2022 for an year
11. A2 language test of my husband
12. His current BRP and passport
Additional docs we are thinking of submitting but we feel maybe aren’t necessary and maybe more applicable for unmarried partners.
1. Our tenancy agreement for a house in india where we lived together from Oct 2022 to Jun 2022.
2. Bank statements between Oct 2022 and Jun 2022 for the same house
3. Wedding invitations and photos
4. Photos from our holidays
My questions
1. Should we even include any of the india residence documentation? Would that bring more attention to the fact that I moved back to UK only in Jun 2022 and my husband in Aug 2022?
2. I’m concerned that me living in india for the last 8 yrs May reflect poorly on my husband’s application. Also in india tenants pay all utilities but the names on them is always landlords and I don’t have enough correspondence as proof for both of us for the india stay after our wedding.
3. I’m also concerned that UK utility bills are only from Aug 2022 to Jan 2023 and I added my husband to it only in Jan 2023, should I be concerned?
