FLR (FP) Appeal Self-Representation

Post by Georgioche » Mon Nov 19, 2018 4:55 pm

I am about to apply for an appeal at the first tier tribunal within the 14 days deadline given in my refusal letter.

Due to the high costs being quoted by immigration solicitors, I am considering representing myself. Also because I lost a lot of money during the initial application where my solicitors were banned by the Government and I was left stranded.

I am also considering a written appeal rather than an oral hearing.

Can anyone provide any experience with self representation at the tribunal and the outcome.

Also can anyone clarify if there are any advantages of having an oral hearing over written submissions.
