FLR (M) APPLICATION

Post by szofar » Wed Sep 01, 2021 4:37 am

Hi require some urgent advice please

My friends husband came to UK on a spouse visa
Once arrived got a job my friend gave up working. By a freek accident about a year into the job he got his finger amputated on the manufacturing machine.
He hasnt worked since being on sick leave and neigther has my friend
Now the FLR application is due and they are really worried.
Is ther any exceptional circumstances to this application? Any documents to be added also would the qualify for a fee waiver?

The have collated all the evidence ie photos of the injury and doctors correspondences.

How will they meet the financial criteria of the application

Any help will be appreciated

Regards

Is he still employed despite being on sick leave?

Also they have a 8 month old baby recently applied for DLA as he has an illness(still in process)
Spouse recieving child benefit for child.
Applicant and spouse not receiving any other benefits.
They live in their cousins house rent free also their cousin helps them financially.

No advise given to them how to prepare for the 2.5yr FLR. No evidence of joint utility bills or bank account. I advised to ring utilites and set up joint names also add name to bank applicants name to spouses bank account.
They have under £1000 savings

Can they apply for a fee waiver in current situation?

Just a thought can the spouse apply for benefits for herself and child??

Visa expires mid October. Bad luck after another first applicant gets his finger amputated 1 year into his work due to covid situation operation had to be delayed etc. Then the spouse became pregnant with complications. Baby born spent 2 months in hospital breathing out of a tube from the neck.

CAN this FLR application be considered under exceptional circumstances?? Or will it be extended to a 10 year route?

Any advise would be appreciated
