FLR (M) Category B

Post by aamir99 » Wed Nov 27, 2013 12:10 pm

Hi All
I searched online and read forms but couldn't find answers.

About me
I got married in June 2013, my wife is british and unemployed.
I am working full time with current employer for 5 months now. Salary £30K
Last year I was working as self employed, earnings £26K

When to apply
I have to apply by 20 January 2014 as my current visa ( Tier 2, PSW) expire by 20th July 2014, need to apply 6 months before.

Bad luck: on 20th Jan, there would only 10 days to complete 6 months with the current employer and apply under category A.

Questions
I am going to apply under category B, Is it correct?
What documents do I need to send for the previous year 2012/13 when I was self employed? I filed my tax return online and I don't have any documents just HMRC letters asking for money etc.
Do I need to send full year's bank statements for the year 2012/13?
I know I need to send my payslips but do I need to send my personal bank statement where the pay is going? If yes, how many months?

Overall I am not sure what documents I need to send with my form.

Should I involve solicitor? Do you recommend any in South West London?

Many Thanks,
Aamir

You can combine income for category B but only for the most recent full financial year, which if it applies to you would be 2012/2013. So you could only include employment up to March this year.

But why do you need to apply 6 months before??

Thanks for your reply.
Is it not a rule that you need at least 6 months valid visa if you apply within the UK otherwise you would have to go backhome and apply from there?
