FLR(M) Extension wife + son – document uploading query

Post by Petem » Mon Nov 01, 2021 5:42 pm

Greetings,

We are presently working through the online FLR (M) renewal application for Wife + son. I must admit it seems a better format than before, allowing both to be linked (although nearly had a heart attack when sons seemed to disappear only to be found as part of hers).

We will be using a checking service prior to finalising the applications and want to “present” the documents in a similar format. I have searched the internet and cannot seem to be able to find any information on when / where you upload them even though many state they did upload them.

Would prefer to be responsible if allowed as from the original application they were selective in what they scanned (evident from the how they were returned and late request for documents originally sent).

I appreciate that we have just come out of Covid so thing might be changeable in short time, my questions are:

1. At what point can I upload, is it part of the application or the appointment?
2. I assume PDF is accepted, is there a file size limit?
3. Can it be one file or are there separate “headings” e.g. ID, financial etc. if so what are they?
4. If uploaded must the applicant have a hard copy / originals at appointment time?

Any advice greatly appreciated and many thanks in advance for your time

Pete
