FLR FP (Parent route) renewal question about benefits

hi guys
I am renewing my FLR FP Parent route, I have been in the UK for almost 18 years and on a 10 year route, renewing the 3rd time, based on my kids

I am a software developer and was earning a good salary, but lost my job in sept and its taking a while to get another job and xmas is around the corner, so I applied for both JSA (job seekers allowance) and UC (universal credit). For JSA I got my first payment of £12 only and UC said until I renew my visa I cant apply, as my visa expires 31st of this month

While applying I am asked what kind of benefits I recieve ? Do I say only JSA and they asked the amount monthly and since its my 1st time ever, do I say £12 ?
