FLR (M) help with question regarding children from previous relatioship please

Hello all,

My wife is Filipino and she too is applying for FLR, and we have come across this same issue. Having struggled with it for ages I went through the previous questions and realised that we should answer "NO", because of the following:-

I have an adult child from me ex-wife, and this is my only child. This is covered by the previous question-

"What is the current relationship between (ME) and (MY EX-WIFE)?" The option I chose was-
"Divorced or dissolved civil partnership (with or without children)"

Crucially, the part in brackets that says "WITH OR WITHOUT CHILDREN" I assume means any children you have had under this relationship. As such my daughter is covered in this question and is not covered by the following question-

"Does (ME) have any other children in the UK that are not applying on this application?"

I believe this question is asking if I have any OTHER children in the UK aside from children from my previous marriage. Thus I replied "NO" to this question. The option choices then simply don't appear, and you don't need to ask previous partners for any details etc.

I hope this is right, we are currently preparing our application for February, so fingers crossed!
