Dear forum members,
My application was received by Home office on friday morning (25/02/2005).
I just wanted to know do the HO send us some acknowledgement after they receive our documents. And how many days does it take for the acknowledgement to come.
Or could it be HO will be sending me the extension straight on without sending the acknowledgement.

Hi,

When does your visa expire. I think we both are in the same boat. My visa expires on 1st May. I suggest you to email them and ask for acknowledgement. Is it HO now concentrating back on old ones again without bothering about late Feb applications.......just kidding.. :wink: We never know their so called operational strategies. :wink: :wink:

My visa expired on Mon 28 Feb 2005 and my solicitor sent my FLR(IED) (for work permit) by recorded delivery on Fri 25 Feb 2005. I recieved a letter of receipt from the HO dated Mon 28 Feb 2005. Maybe its best if you contact them for a letter of receipt.
