FLR(M) Online form - I meet the financial requirements through normal employment but I am a director of a UK company

Hi all,

Hopefully you guys can help I started filling the online form out for FLR(M). I meet the financial requirement with my own salary through normal employment. I have a permanent full time job from a UK based company I have been an employee of since early 2016. About 4 months ago however I started a UK company with my wife and we are both joint directors. I am not a employee of this new company, not receive a salary and the company has not distributed any profits through dividends (since its been running for less than 6 months).

Now I wasn't going to include anything regarding me being a director but the online form specifically asks the question "Are you a director or non-executive director of a limited company based in the UK?" so I have to answer "Yes" but then it says for me to provide "Evidence as directed by Appendix FM-SE for a director or a non-executive director of a limited company based in the UK".

Given I am not relying on any income from this new company that I am a director of, do I have to include any documentation? Since its a new company we have very little documents as it stands...

Any thoughts?
