PR for baby born in UK

Hello all,

this query is posted on behalf my frnd. Help is appreciated.

My frnd is on WP and due for ILR in NOV 2010.
He have three dependants, wife + 2kids.
One of the babies is born in UK 6months back.

My question is does he need to apply ILR for that baby as well with him
or
Can he apply for citizenship for her once he gets ILR ??

Pls clarify.

There is no need for the UK-born-child to be included in the ILR application. When either parent is granted settlement, register the child as British under section 1(3) using MN1 form. Upon successful registration apply for British passport.
