Yes- so what should I do? Postal orders have tracking numbers and IDs, so if they cash it I should be fine right?

i did the same mistake.have you received the acknowledgement letter yet? i posted the application last week and still have not received any letter? do u think it would make my application as invalid?

If postal order made with UKBA name written on it, it should be fine. Ususaly the person who open the envelop he will check and write the name on back if applicant forgot to do the same. But if you did not receive your letter yet you should call them with reference number and PO receipt (your's part) handy. I hope it will help!
