form 11 for irish citizenship

Hello Gurus,
we r living n working in northern ireland. and I m in tier 2 visa . my girl was born in northern ireland that time i was on student visa so she was not qualified for irish citizenship and she is now 5 years. m thinking to apply for irish citizenship for her using form 11. is it possible? please help.

In order to help answer your question would need to know a few things:

1) When did you obtain your Tier 2 Visa
2) Your nationality (I assume your non-EU as you have a tier 2 visa)
3) Have you spent any period longer than 6 weeks outside the Island of Ireland with your kid.
4) Do you have documentation to show 5 years of living in Northern Ireland.

Sorry. I'm not as clued up on minors in Northern Ireland. Following on from my last reply.

So your girl is born in Northern Ireland and therefore would not be able to apply as she needs to be born in the Republic of Ireland. Unless your partner is an Irish citizen? However if that was the case she would have been Irish at birth.
