Formal payslip clarification

Post by 100beers » Sun Feb 28, 2010 8:52 pm

Hi all,

Advise please. Can someone please advise if i need to get my payslips stamped and signed as it involves having to go through my previous employer and i'd prefer to aviod it if possible.

The payslip we recieve are those old fasioned ones. You know the ones that arrive in the post and you have to tear off the edges to view pay/tax details. Is that ok to send as is?

Here is what the guidelines say:
-----
Payslips: These should be either formal payslips or on company headed paper. Where formal payslips are produced on plain paper they must be stamped and signed by the employer. Payslips which are not on headed paper or the applicant receives all pay slips online, he/she must authenticate the evidence by asking the employer to sign and stamp a printout.
-----

I read that because i'm supplying formal payslips that are not a printout - it is ok to supply as is. Do people agree with my interpretation?

Cheers and thanks for your thoughs.

Hi

I supplied the same payslips for my extension (ADP comes via post ) blue color and you have to tear the edges + bank statements for proof of earning.

Tipu
