CV Format for UK Employers

Please,can someone give me a clue on how UK CV format looks like.

I've seen both the "European format" with the irrelevant information in curriculum and the US format resume been used, the "European format" being the academic format without being for an academic purpose, and without listing publications etc.

I personally go always with resumes, no matter if applying or hiring. [more of the differences]

What's the difference between a resume and a CV? The primary differences are the length, the content and the purpose. A resume is a one or two page summary of your skills, experience and education. I find I can't win with either format, you turn it in and the recruiters will tell you to change it anyway.
If you don't get lots of response with your cv or resume, then you might need to change it but you can test it out for now and see what it brings you
