format of the EEA card

Hello, I am an Irish citizen and I have applied for an EEA registration card today. I envisage that there will be no vignettes in the passport (i.e. EEA certificate) and that this would come as a saparate document. Does it come in a form of a card (for easy carrying)? Thanks

It comes in a small booklet.size is somewhere between a credit card and a passport.
Don't see any reason to carry it around.
