Fresh Visa Application

Post by soniyashah » Sat May 13, 2006 9:06 pm

Hi,

My husband applied for a visa in pakistan to join me here in Uk as I have a british passport.

He was refused with a right to appeal, but we had the appeal hearing and that got refused as well.

What I would like some advice on now is that is it worth doing a fresh application and addressing the points that he was initially refused on, or would it make no difference. They would refuse him again as they have already refused him once.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If you successfully address all the points in the rejection letter then the visa will be granted. The fact that your husband has been refused before does not mean that any further application will fail automatically. Each application is considered on its merits.

Hi,

Thanks for that. Is there any solicitor or someone who you can recommend that could advise me as to the points that I need to address when I make a new application.

And also how long does it take to get a visa once a new application has been submitted to the embassy.

I presume you have already studied the INF 4 Guidance Notes?

You must submit your divorce paper with the application.
