From a dependant to a work permit Holder

this forum has been a great help for all of us. thanks to all of you, for this wonderfu discussion board.


my spouse wants to move from a dependant status to a work permit one . SHe has a valid job offer from an UK employee here in UK

Can her employer apply for the work permit while shes in UK .

Does she have to go back to India ( home country )
If so , at what stage will she have to do that.. and what formalities must she complete in India , please give me an idea of the steps involved.
