Funds in bank account while applying for a visit visa

Post by rondip_viroka » Fri Nov 26, 2010 5:03 pm

Hello,

I'm a salaried individual from Bangalore, India and earn around INR 80,000 a month. My average bank balance generally is very low since I spend most of the money I earn :)

Financially, I'm ok as I have a Fixed Deposit of INR 300,000 and I own a flat in Bangalore

I've taken a loan of INR 150,000 recently for a visit to the UK. I therefore currently have a good bank balance at the moment. Is my bank statement sufficient to prove that I "have enough money to support and accommodate myself without working or help from public funds and that I can meet the cost of the return or onward journey"

I don't want my visit visa application rejected because of the lack of savings in my bank account

What kind of documents should I furnish to cite financial capability

Regards

vinny

What documents do I need as a general visitor? and What supporting documents should I include with my application?

Similar to visitors to the USA, you should also show strong ties to your home country.
