Future mum from Greece.

I will have to get to UK for educational/professional reasons and then I'll be too big since I'm now pregnant to get back to GR to give birth so I'm considering staying and having the baby in the UK and then go back to Greece. I'm married to a Greek. Will giving birth in UK mean anything for the baby? I don't wish to get on a plane during my last trimester and I can't postpone my going to UK. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Can you say what type of educational/professional reasons? Just trying to work out in what sort of way you will be exercising your EU Treaty Rights?

Is your husband going to accompany you to the UK?

If your question is really ... will my child still be Greek even if born in the UK ... sorry I know nothing of Greek Nationality law ... but does this Wikipedia webpage assist you?

Your child will not be British simply because he/she is born in the UK.
