Future of students with families in UK for a long time

Post by sh17uk » Mon Jul 04, 2011 11:06 pm

My husband is on student visa in Uk for nearly 8 years. He did 2 masters from two different universities, got once 1-year SEGS visa as well. During this time, he tried getting HSMP and tier 2/work permit but no luck.
Me (wife) and three kids have completed 7 years here, all my children are studying in school for 7 years since 2004. Our current visa is till mid of next year.
I am very much worried about our future in UK and the studies of my children as two of them are in college now. One will be 18 at the end of this year and the 2nd is just 16 now.
Because of the new rules, What could be the options for settling in here......

Can we apply on human rights basis?....now or at the end of our visa?

Any advice please.....Thanks
