FYI: Before going to NARIC, Check with British Council

Before you go to NARIC, check out the local British Council office. They usually have information about degree equivalence.

You can get the web and street addresses of local British Council offices from the following site.

Note: British Council is different from British High Commission or British Embassy.

NARIC accreditation letter is the only letter read by IMHOs. You can not derail the train.

Talking British council is appropriate for educational purposes or to liaise with a professional body in the UK. It might be informal evaluation to overseas certificates.

NARIC letter is the final letter but British Council usually knows whether NARIC will give you a positive letter or not. You may save the hassle and money if you talk to the Education consultants at the British Council.
