Gap between courses

Hi there,

I applied for visa extension on 28th spetember 2009 and got my extension in 2010. My course will be finished in february 2010, and my current visa is valid untill august 2010. That how much is the maximum gap between courses is allowed by HO? its quiete confusing me as i think its 4 months for those who extended visa before 4th october 2009. some say it is 28 days but I am not clear. Please provide me with some guidance.

Sorry can you clarify, are you asking about when it is that you need to return to your home country after your course is over?

hi elena,

I have to topup my current CMI qualification with a master degree. My CMI will be finished by feb2010, my visa will expire in august 2010. I want to get admission for a topup course. MY question is, is this right i can give 4 months gaps between the courses?

Accastudent, I honestly don't have a clue if they allow such a large gap.
