Gap in ILR?

Post by pasha77 » Thu Oct 11, 2007 9:04 am

Hi, can someone help me with the definition of Gap in Work permit for ILR application. My situation is as follows:

My first work permit started on 12th Nov 2002(This is the stamp) and was valid until 11th Nov 2007

I moved to a different employer in July 2007 and my work permit for the new employer started on 13th June 2007 and is valid until 12th June 2012

I finished my employment with the first employer on 19th June 2007 and started with my new employer on 10th July 2007. I however had 23 holidays outstanding with the first employer which were paid as part of final salary in June

My question is whether the time between 19th June 2007( date I technically finished first employment) and 10th July 2007 ( date I started 2nd employment) can be considered as a gap by Home office.

Any help much appreciated[/b]

I doubt it. You should be okay.
